How cold weather affects your skin! Friday, 3 February 2012

Hi Everyone,

Thought I’d talk to you all about how the cold weather affects your skin!

Cold temperatures can really take a toll on your skin, particularly your hands face and lips. During the winter months, the low humidity dries out your skin and harsh soaps strip away your natural oils. As we get older, our ability to make more natural protective oils (sebum) declines. And to make matters worse, many people are allergic to chemicals in soaps, most commonly the preservative called triclosan. The combination of these things makes your skin dry and feel rough – and worse – you get little cuts that are so incredibly painful!!! As many of you already know, I suffered so badly with dry skin and cracks on my hands until I discovered the power of using natural ingredients such as beeswax, shea nut butter and healing base oils. All of which restore, moisturise, soothe and nourish dry skin.

Along with the help of clincal aromatherpists, I came up with a foumla which is now known as the All Purpose Balm which completely cured the painful dry cracked skin on my hands! This wonderful product is completely Natural and Organic and can be used as a luxorious night time face moistuiser, lip balm and hand balm.

As the weather is just so cold at the moment, I have decided to put a 50% off sale on the 30g and 50g pots of our All Purpose balm plus free postage and packaging! £2.99 trial size is now available in a handy lip balm size. This also comes with free postage and packaging. Go to http://www.natural-u.co.uk

Wrap up warm! :-)

Best Wishes
