Beeswax:
Moisturises and softens your skin. Beeswax is naturally anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic and a germicidal antioxidant. It contains some vitamin A which is what aids in normal cell development .Beeswax can help with the relief of insect bites. It is used in many salves and lip balms due its properties. Many people use it to help with chapped, dry or itchy skin.
Calendula Oil:
Calendula extract can be used on bee stings. It is also very good for nappy rash.Calendula can help with athletes foot because of it’s anti-fungal properties It is anti-inflammatory anti- bacterial, antiseptic and anti fungal commonly used to help with dry, chapped skin. Used on wounds, burns, inflammations and skin irritations.
Sweet Almond Oil:
Sweet almond oil is widely used in aroma therapy for massage. It is easily absorbed and works as a great emollient on the skin. Helps towards itchy or inflamed skin. Great to condition the skin and revive the skins natural glow. Almond oil is very nourishing for the skin.
Olive Oil:
Olive oil is a fantastic moisturiser and is used in skin care products to help with minor skin wounds and inflammations of the skin. Olive oil has antioxidant properties thus further protecting the skin. Some research suggests that applying olive oil to the skin after being in the sun can reduce the damage caused by sun exposure.
Lavender Essential Oil:
Lavender removes nervous tension, relieves pain, disinfects skin and treats respiratory problems. Lavender is often recommended for insomnia as it enhances sleep It has antiseptic and anti fungal properties which help towards acne, psoriasis, wrinkles, cuts, burns, wounds and sunburn. Lavender is added to Chamomile to treat eczema.
Chamomile:
Chamomile has a huge amount of properties from antiseptic, antibiotic, anti depressant, ant inflammatory, anti infectious and many more. It can help ease pain associated with burns, allergies and other skin complaints. It is beneficial in treating skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and rashes.
Shea Butter:
Shea butter has shown to help with wrinkles, burns eczema, dermatitis, rashes and more. It also helps in healing wounds. It helps to soothe sunburned skin and insect bites. It is also great for improving the look of scars and stretch marks. Wonderful for the whole body. It is an excellent skin moisturiser and great for dry skin. Offers sun and wind protection.
Eucalyptus Oil:
Eucalyptus oil is added to many products, from inhalers, rash creams mouth washers and more. Massaging eucalyptus into the skin helps with painful, tense muscles, sprained ligaments , aches, nerve pain and more. It is anti inflammatory and antiseptic so good for wounds, cuts, grazes and sores. It is also known to be effective on bites and stings.
Ravensara essential oil:
The health benefits of Ravensara Essential Oil can be attributed to its properties like analgesic, anti allergenic, anti bacterial & anti microbial, anti depressant, anti fungal, anti septic, anti spasmodic, anti viral, aphrodisiac, disinfectant, diuretic, expectorant, relaxant and tonic.
Peppermint essential oil:
It is used in aroma therapy to stimulate the mind. It is also good for itchy skin and reduces redness. Good for headaches and migraines. It is a natural decongestant. Peppermint oil helps to reduce pain. It is naturally cooling and helps to reduce fever.
Tea tree essential oil:
There is still insufficient evidence on some of the benefits of tea tree oil, although we do know it holds anti fungal properties. Studies have shown that tea tree may reduce inflammation. It is also said to be good for athlete’s foot. Tea tree has shown to kill fungus and yeast.
Manuka essential oil:
